The 22Mohawks Airborne Operations Course and Retreat is a structured, elite-style experience combining professional airborne training with therapeutic retreat elements.
Participants rebuild confidence, trust, and identity through physically and mentally demanding training modeled after military operations. The shared challenge restores camaraderie, reinforces self-efficacy, and creates lifelong peer networks critical protective factors in suicide prevention.
This program is not recreational. It is a purpose-driven intervention that helps veterans and first responders reclaim their sense of capability, belonging, and mission.
Certification
5 Static Line Parachute Jumps – Certified in static line parachuting (Round Canopy SF-10)
Ability to join a Parachuting team and jump around the world (Community Focused)
Certified 22Mohawks Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper through QPR – The first step to joining the 22Mohawks Suicide Prevention Team

Straphanger Fundraiser
22MH Straphanger Program - 22Mohawks Airborne Retreat
The 22MH Straphanger Program is an annual peer-to-peer fundraising initiative designed to sustain and expand the airborne training experience of the 22Mohawks Airborne Retreat. Through individual fundraising efforts, participants directly fund future parachute jumps and the opportunity to earn foreign jump wings, ensuring the program remains accessible and mission-ready for subsequent groups.
Each participant (“Straphanger”) commits to raising $600 per year, which is allocated toward jump costs, logistics, and international airborne credentialing opportunities.

Individual Fundraising Pages:
Each Straphanger will receive a personalized Donorbox fundraising link
Links may be shared throughout the year via email, social media, and personal networks
All funds raised through individual links are credited to that participant

Each Straphanger who participates in the program receives:
Three (3) parachute jumps during the designated retreat period
October and February/March
Optional opportunity to earn foreign jump wings, subject to availability and partner nation requirements
