Honor & Remember
22Mohawks Corp was founded to address a critical gap in suicide prevention for veterans and first responders: the lack of upstream, culturally competent prevention that reaches people before crisis.
Research shows suicide risk is driven by the intersection of trauma exposure, moral injury, brain injury, chronic stress, sleep disruption, and social isolation. Many individuals at risk are not engaged in traditional mental health services. 22Mohawks was built to reach them.
Our theory of change is simple and evidence-informed: when identity, purpose, belonging, and physiological regulation are restored and pathways to care remain accessible, suicide becomes preventable at scale.
All 22Mohawks programs are veteran-led and community-based. From companion dog partnerships to airborne retreats and performance training, we focus on rebuilding protective factors proven to reduce suicide risk. We do not replace clinical care; we complement it by intervening earlier.
Transparency, accountability, and sustainability guide our work. Through research partnerships, data collection, and continuous evaluation, we ensure our programs are ethical, effective, and responsive to evolving needs.
At its core, 22Mohawks exists to ensure that no veteran or first responder fights alone and that prevention begins long before crisis.

22Mohawks was deeply honored to receive the 2025 Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention Leadership Award.
This recognition belongs not to any one person, but to the entire 22Mohawks community: our team, volunteers, dog trainers, jumpmasters, advocates, and supporters who show up every day for veterans and first responders. This award is a reminder of the responsibility we carry and the work still ahead. We remain relentless in our commitment to protecting life, strengthening connection, and honoring both the fallen and the living. Together, we will continue to move forward. “Deeds Not Words”
